Killer Peter Norgrove today pleaded guilty murdering 58-year-old Sharon Gordon, who lived on Bromford Road in the Holly Hall area of Dudley.

Norgrove, aged 43, had previously denied killing Mrs Gordon who suffered eight blows to the head, but has now changed his plea.

The alarm was raised by concerned colleagues when the victim failed to turn up for work following a dispute with the defendant. She was found by friends by the stairs in her home on Friday, July 21, the day after the attack.
